Best GPS for Biking
Searching for a Best GPS for Biking
Looking for the best GPS for biking, depending on what you need out of your GPS and how much you want to spend here are some of the top GPS's for biking, Garmin seem to have the best selection of GPS systems for biking to choose from.
Before choosing the right GPS device for you consider about what features are important? Long life batteries, larger screens and pre loaded maps are pretty much standard features on most of the newer models of handheld GPS's Other highly helpful features include quick link to satellites, voice control, and lots more. Another thing to take into account is the total you want to pay.
Handheld GPS units are fantastic for biking but you can also use them for camping, hunting, boating, geocaching, or really any outdoor leisure pursuit. A mounting bracket is a very useful extra so you can mount the handheld GPS in your car. The brackets are so versatile they can be used on bikes, boats and motorcycles Unlike GPS units made for your car, most handhelds don't have voice prompts, however some of them will "beep" as you approach your finish.
Garmin has a variety of GPS devices for biking to choose from and the Edge systems are for bikers. The Garmin Edge 705 GPS-Enabled Cycling Computer is their top of the line GPS system. TheEdge 705 pushes you to do your best, and then shows you the way back. This GPS enabled cycle computer knows no limits.
Then there is the Garmin Edge 500 Cycling GPS this is a great bike computer with tons of amazing features, it's small and pretty does the all the things (and some more) that you expect a cycle computer to do. Lightweight GPS-based cycling computer tracks your distance, speed, location and elevation with high-sensitivity GPS.
Then there is the watch type GPS system which is used for biking and running, great for the tri-athlete. The Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS Receiver, I can't imagine running or biking without it. Updating my training log is trivial now: Plug this thing into my computer, and it's done. My hope is that a future software update will do something about the pace calculation.

Does anyone have the Bell f20 bike computer?
I'm looking for the tire size code chart for the bell 20f bike computer, because I recently got a new bike with a different tire size (28") but can't find the instructions.
You can put a tape measure around the tire and measure it or do a roll out test where you mark the floor where the stem is and roll the bike until the stem is at the floor again. Convert it to mm and use that number.
