Description

Be a part of the Gateway Canyons Road Cycling Festival! This weekend brings some of the top pro's from around the country, top amateurs and tour participants riding to benefit the "Just for Kids Foundation."

Tour Riders are encouraged to participate in the Citizens Class of the road race- A non-competitive timed event. Great for beginning racers to learn about racing!

Course Detail

Out and Back Format - The TT course will begin in Gateway and head south on HWY 141. The 20k and 40k course is certified. This is a very fast course and the road is in excellent condition. There is a very good possibility that this course will someday be home to the National Record.

Awards Ceremony
Awards for the Time Trial and the Dolores River Classic will be held from 3:00pm to 3:30pm in the Cottonwood Terrace at Gateway Canyons Resort.

After Race Party
Spectators and riders will be gathered in the Cottonwood Terrace at Gateway Canyons during and after the Saturday "Dolores River Classic" and after the Sunday "Unaweep Canyon Classic" for the after race party. Announcements and music will be played on the resort throughout the day. A wide variety of vendors will be available near the after race party area.
