Does Blackpool Pleasure Beach have a ferris wheel?
I haven't been to Blackpool in a while and wondered if I was remembering right or if I was mistaken.
Its on Central Pier. It was constructed in 1990 at a cost of £750,000 and the pier had to be strengthened to cope with the extra weight. It gives great view of Blackpool and the gondolas can be rotated by the riders. Blackpool has 3 piers, South Pier is closest to the Pleasure Beach and has adrenaline zone , Central Pier - Ferris wheel and Legends Show, North Pier - Theatre and it was Blackpool's first pier.
